Our project was created out of the failure of EU's institutions to establish a science based Taxonomy of environmentally sustainable activities. This website hosts a 'shadow taxonomy' to rate the criteria of the official one (with a green/ amber/ red color code) and to provide, where possible, alternative criteria.

The 'science based taxonomy' intends to provide businesses and investors with a science based, lobby-free assessment of environmental sustainability.
